4AD has announced it is putting Mojave 3’s discography back into print.

All five of the folk-leaning indie rock band’s records will be reissued July 24th digitally, on CD and standard vinyl, and as a special collection containing every LP on clear vinyl in a slip case. The reissues were remastered at Abbey Road Studios. The albums, Ask Me Tomorrow (1995), Out of Tune (1998), Excuses For Travellers (2000), Spoon and Rafter (2003), and Puzzles Like You (2006) have been some of the most requested for reissue in 4AD’s catalogue, according to the label. Fans can pre-order here.

Mojave 3 came together after the dissolving of Slowdive in 1995. Members of the English shoegaze band, Neil Halstead, Rachel Goswell, and their final drummer Ian McCrutcheon, brought the new outfit together. Mojave 3 replaced the pedal boards and electric guitars of Slowdive with pedal steel and acoustic guitars, maintaining the reverb drenched, mellow vocals. Over the proceeding 10 years, the band got more upbeat and more electric, finding a sound comparable to Wilco and My Morning Jacket. Mojave 3 went on hiatus in 2008, but returned in 2011 for a tour before taking another extended break.
