Ahead of her first-ever North American headlining tour, rising pop artist ADÉLA has unveiled her debut album PRIMA.

Produced by Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady, PRIMA finds the Slovak artist drawing from her European roots and her journey to pop stardom. Its title PRIMA refers to the fact that it’s ADÉLA’s first record; it also references the name given to esteemed and notable ballerinas. Through songs like “KGB” and the burgeoning hit “Ain’t in LA,” ADÉLA likens the quest for international pop success to that of classically-trained ballet dancers, from her early days studying English as an adolescent in Bratislava to her turn as a contestant on the 2023 reality show Dream Academy (the show that spawned the girl group KATSEYE). Stream PRIMA below, and pick up a vinyl copy of the new album here.

ADÉLA will support PRIMA with her first-ever headlining tour of North America, dubbed “The Red Bottoms Tour.” The tour begins with a show in Detroit on September 9th, followed by stops in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. The tour concludes with a pair of shows in Mexico City on October 15th and 16th. See ADÉLA’s full list of tour dates below and get tickets to see her here.

ADÉLA has also revealed a new music video for PRIMA single “Nicole Kidman.” The visual features ADÉLA cutting her hot pink hair, rubbing birthday cake all over her body, and riding on an oversized swing. Regarding the song and its video, ADÉLA said in a statement, “Somehow, I got invited to a Golden Globes event. I’ve never been in a movie, but I got all glammed up, put into a dress, had my hair done, and I looked really good. My hair was super bouncy, and my corset was so tight that I thought, ‘I feel like Nicole Kidman right now’. I actually watched Eyes Wide Shut, and became obsessed with her. To me, she is ‘the’ movie star.” Watch the video below.
