Amon Amarth and Dethklok have announced a Spring 2026 North American co-headlining tour.
The “Amonklok Tour” will kick off April 15th in Phoenix and runs through May 21st in Las Vegas. Castle Rat will provide support for the outing, which hits cities such as Houston, Brooklyn, Toronto, Detroit, Denver, and Las Vegas — plus two festival stops for both co-headliners at Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple.
Tickets are now available through Ticketmaster. Fans can look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 110% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.
“Three bands. One night. The strong will scream. The weak will fall. Limbs will be lost,” Amon Amarth declared in a press release statement. “We will crush skulls beneath our boots and tear the halls down stone by stone. This is not a concert. It is a reckoning. If you survive… perhaps the gods have other plans for you.”
Notably, the trek aligns with Dethklok’s 20th anniversary in 2026. The real-life lineup for the fictional Metalocalypse band will feature mastermind Brendon Small on guitar and vocals, legendary extreme metal drummer Gene Hoglan (Death, Dark Angel, Testament), bassist Pete Griffin (Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Zakk Wylde), and guitar shredder Nili Brosh (Danny Elfman).
“We have to celebrate our 20th anniversary,” Small said in the press release. “And what a killer way to do it, with Amon Amarth and Castle Rat, who embody theatrical heavy metal.”
He added, “We’re going to entertain you as hard as we possibly can with the power of heavy metal in many kinds of ways, and many different iterations — from Viking battleships to Castle Rat to Dethklok with our music and fast-paced, insane animation. We challenge ourselves to get in as much material without wearing out our welcome. We also get to be funny.”
Amon Amarth, meanwhile, released the single “We Rule the Waves” earlier this year — the prelude to a new full-length album set to arrive in late 2026, per the tour press release.
