Apple is officially releasing the AirPods 5 tomorrow, September 18th, but Amazon is already discounting the entry-level model to $124.99, marking a $5 discount from the $129 retail price.
With what Apple calls the “best-in-class open-ear active noise cancellation,” the base AirPods 5 approach feature parity with the $199 Apple AirPods Pro 3, adding adaptive audio with transparency mode, conversation awareness, and live translation with Siri AI. Apple also states the new model’s active noise cancellation is 50% better than the previous generation.
