One of the year’s biggest box office hits has been Kane Parsons’ Backrooms, and for those who want more of those creepy horror vibes, A24 is delivering: On July 3rd, a new version of the movie, entitled Everything Must Go, will hit theaters with 16 extra minutes of footage.
It’s rare for a movie to get a special release like this so close to its original premiere in theaters, but Backrooms has been a rare sort of phenomenon — starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett, and Lukita Maxwell, the terrifying tale about liminal spaces has grossed over $100 million so far.
