Billie Eilish Confirms New 3D Concert Film Co-Directed by James Cameron

Billie Eilish has confirmed details of her new 3D concert film celebrating her “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT” tour. Co-directed by James Cameron alongside Eilish, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) will arrive in theaters on March 20th.

Eilish delivered the news to fans on Sunday night during her final tour stop in San Francisco, along with sharing a photo of her and Cameron working on the film to her Instagram with the caption: “This has been one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with @jamescameronofficial has truly been a dream come true. can’t wait for you all to see it :’)”

The pop star previously teased the film during a run of shows in Manchester, UK, when she told audiences, “You may have noticed more cameras than usual… I can’t say much about it, but I can say we’re working on something very special with someone named James Cameron that’s going to be in 3D.”

In addition to his collaboration with Billie Eilish, Cameron is preparing for the release of the next Avatar chapter, Fire and Ash, arriving in theaters December 19th.
