Carrot Top was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Friday night following a suicide attempt.
A representative for the actor and comedian confirmed to TMZ that Carrot Top (whose real name is Scott Thompson) is “recovering in the hospital and is receiving the care and support he needs.” His family and those closest to him expressed gratitude for the concern and support while respectfully asking for privacy.”
Carrot Top, 61, performs a nightly residency at the Luxor in Las Vegas. Friday night’s performance was canceled following the incident.
