When Clint Eastwood’s Juror No. 2 came out in 2024, it felt like the end of an era for the kinds of movies Eastwood made over the course of his decades-long career. And it appears that that film may be his last. In a November 2025 interview with the French publication France Info, his son Kyle Eastwood revealed that his father has retired from film work (translation via Google Translate):

“I have many fond memories of working with him. Now he’s retired, he’s 95 years old. But I was very lucky to be able to work with him on quite a few films,” Kyle Eastwood observes. “It was a great experience for me.”
