Kevin Smith’s beloved 1999 movie Dogma is coming to 4K Ultra HD for the first time on December 9th, in belated celebration of its 25th anniversary. It will be available as a limited edition Steelbook and in standard 4K UHD. Pre-orders are ongoing.
The movie chronicles angels Bartleby (Ben Affleck) and Loki (Matt Damon) trying to work their way back into heaven via a divine loophole, The adventure finds the pair running into a host of issues along the way, including trying to find God (played by Alanis Morissette), who went missing somewhere in New Jersey on a trip to play skee ball.
Among the new 4K features are the documentary Revelations: Making Dogma, a behind-the-scenes featurette with cinematographer Robert Yeoman, and a Q&A. Legacy extras include audio commentary with Kevin Smith, Ben Affleck, Jason Lee, Jason Mewes, Scott Mosier, and Vincent Pereira, 2001 documentary Judge Not: In Defense of Dogma, a Jay and Silent Bob Secret Stash commercial, deleted scenes with intros, and more.
