The Eagles have once again extended the longest-running residency at Sphere in Las Vegas.
Now tallying 72 total shows, “Live in Concert at Sphere” features additional dates on January 15th, 16th, 22nd, and 23rd. It appears Don Henley and company had a change of heart after the vocalist previously said that this was “probably” the band’s last year.
In February, Henley told CBS Sunday Morning that he thought the Eagles’ “miraculous run” was coming to a close. “I think this year will probably be it,” he said. “And I’ve said things like that before, but I feel like we’re getting toward the end and that will be fine, too.”
Tickets for the newly announced Sphere shows will first be available to fans who register for the artist pre-sale, which starts on Wednesday, August 12th at 10:00 a.m. PT. There will also be a Live Nation pre-sale for All Access members beginning Thursday, August 13th at 10:00 a.m. PT, followed by the general on-sale on Friday, August 14th via Ticketmaster, also at 10:00 a.m. PT.
The announcement of the new January 2027 dates comes one month after the Eagles extended their Sphere residency with four December shows. The band kicked off their Vegas residency in September 2024, but haven’t limited live performances to the venue. Earlier this year, they played some farewell shows on “The Long Goodbye, Act III” tour in Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee.
The Eagles will resume the Vegas residency in September, with more shows in November and December ahead of next year’s dates.
