Emperor have announced a Spring 2026 North American tour with support from Blood Incantation.
The 12-date outing launches on March 27th in Toronto and runs through April 12th in Los Angeles. Along the way, the two extreme metal stalwarts will play Montreal; Worcester, Massachusetts; Pittsburgh; Detroit; Minneapolis; Chicago; St. Louis; Atlanta; Nashville; and Austin.
A Live Nation ticket pre-sale begins Thursday at 10 a.m. local time for Live Nation All Access members. General ticket sales start Friday at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
“Emperor hordes of North America! We are excited to return to Canada and the U.S. in March/April 2026 with very special guests Blood Incantation,” the Norwegian black metal pioneers stated (via Facebook).
Emperor continue to tour consistently even though they haven’t released new music since 2001.
Band mastermind Ihsahn has repeatedly shot down the idea, though he himself has released numerous solo albums over the past two decades. For the upcoming North American run, the Norwegian masters notably tapped one of the US metal underground’s recent success stories in Blood Incantation, who released their latest effort, 2024 album Absolute Elsewhere, to widespread acclaim.
