Evanescence’s breakout hit “Bring Me to Life” has been certified 11x platinum in the United States, pushing it beyond a diamond certification. The achievement marks an astronomical leap, as its previous certification was in 2019 for 3x platinum.

A platinum certification verifies one million equivalent sales, while diamond certifies 10 million. The math becomes more impressive upon learning that streams of a song often take between 150 and 1500 listens to equal just a single unit.
