Fender and Johnny Marr have unveiled a new signature model Jaguar electric guitar.
The Johnny Marr Signature Special Jaguar retails for $2999.99 and was designed to the deliver the bright, jangly playing that defines Marr’s style and specifically his iconic work with The Smiths.

Fender and Marr’s new take on the classic Jaguar features an alder body with custom gloss nitrocellulose black lacquer finish and a custom-shaped neck with a 9.5-inch radius rosewood fretboard. Hardware includes a Jaguar bridge with Mustang saddles, plus vintage-style tuners and floating tremolo.
Under the hood, Marr’s Jaguar is electronically fitted with custom-wound Kent Armstrong lipstick pickups with Marr’s personal wiring scheme for an expansive range of tones and expressive leads.
