Foo Fighters fans, it’s time to start training for your local rock and roll marathon: Dave Grohl and co. have announced a stadium tour for 2026. Plus, the band has unleashed a new song called “Asking for a Friend.”
Kicking off August 4th at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, the tour also includes massive gigs at Ford Field in Detroit; Soldier Field in Chicago; Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia; Nationals Park in Washington, DC; BC Place in Vancouver; and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Queens of the Stone Age will serve as direct support on all dates except for the show on September 12th in Fargo, with Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away also appearing at select dates. See the full itinerary below.
Tickets for Foo Fighters’ 2026 stadium tour are on sale as of Friday, October 31st via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 110% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
It will be Foo Fighters’ first stadium tour since their “Everything or Nothing at All” jaunt of 2023-2024, and follow their recent run of surprise US club dates and overseas arena shows.
“Since our return to the stage in San Luis Obispo five weeks ago, we have been reminded of why we love and are forever devoted to doing this Foo Fighters thing” Grohl said in a press statement. “From reuniting as a band and staring at a list of 30 years worth of songs to brush off, to reimagining versions with the incredible blessing of the one and only Ilan Rubin behind the drums, to reconnecting with our amazing fans and blasting them with everything we’ve got (no matter the size of the venue) because we would not be here without them, we have the most solid core. And the sun is finally rising over the horizon.”
The tour announcement arrives with a new Foo Fighters song, “Asking for a Friend.” The hard-charging mid-tempo track features a decidedly darker melodic approach than the band’s most recent single, “Today’s Song,” building on Grohl’s impassioned refrains of “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…” Listen to it below.
“‘Asking for a Friend’ is a song for those who have waited patiently in the cold, relying on hope and faith for their horizon to appear,” Grohl said of the new song. “Searching for ‘proof’ when hanging by a wish until the sun shines again.”
Earlier this month, the band released a new live album, Foo Fighters – Are Playing Where ??? Vol. 1, exclusive to Bandcamp.
