RUSH returned to the stage on Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas, after rescheduling a couple of shows on their “Fifty Something” reunion tour due to frontman Geddy Lee’s recent battle with bronchitis and laryngitis.
The singer-bassist sounded as strong as ever for the prog legends’ latest concert, powering through the evening’s 24-song set. The show marked the band’s first in two weeks, having last played on June 28th at the same venue.
The set followed the pattern of Day 3 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, featuring Moving Pictures played in its entirety plus a bevy of other songs.
The North American leg of RUSH “Fifty Something” tour is set to run through December, with overseas dates set for early 2027 (get tickets here). We named the outing one of our 10 must-see summer heavy metal and hard rock tours, a choice validated by the incredible sets the band has been playing thus far. And depending on which show you go to, you might even run into fellow fans like Sabrina Carpenter.
RUSH recently released a charity t-shirt to support victims of the recent devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela. All proceeds go toward Hogar Bambi, a charity focused on helping abandoned and orphaned children.
