Goose frontman Rick Mitarotonda is a fan of Geese — what the flock else would he be?
“I think they’re great,” he tells Consequence. “That whole thing has been wild to watch. We were aware of them a few years ago — they played on a late night show, and we were like, ‘Who are these kids Geese playing on a late night show, from Brooklyn?’ Didn’t pay too much attention from there. But then all of a sudden, obviously last year, it’s been massive what they’ve got going on.”
He adds of lead singer Cameron Winter, “I’d love to meet Cameron. He seems like a really intelligent and interesting and creative guy, a really unique voice, and I’m excited to see where they go.”
Check out more from Mitarotonda in our June cover story where we also talk overstimulation, modernity, and the band Goose’s excellent new album, BIG MODERN!
