Green Day TV promises a continuous stream of content from Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool’s group, including music videos, live performances, and archival footage captured at recording studios and music video shoots, alongside backstage content from tours.

In addition, Green Day TV will air a weekly variety show, Transmission Unknown, hosted by Tré Cool. The series will spotlight handpicked emerging musical acts with live performances and interviews, while also featuring original sketches combining comedy and music.
The launch of the YouTube stream comes ahead of the band’s NIMRODS film, a coming-of-age story based on Green Day’s early touring days. Out in theaters on August 14th, the film stars Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust alongside Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Keen Ruffalo, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Mckenna Grace, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn.
Last week, Green Day unleashed the film’s soundtrack. The 30-song album features 22 fan favorites alongside brand new tracks like “I’m Never Gonna R.I.P.,” the band’s first new music since 2024’s Saviors. Also included are previously unreleased live recordings and a handful of songs from the movie’s fictional band, Anal OG Dogs.
