What would’ve happened if Kevin McAllister forgot to disarm a few of his booby traps before his family returned home? That’s the premise of a completely unhinged Home Alone-themed sketch that aired during SNL’s Christmas episode. Host Ariana Grande played Kevin, with Ashley Padilla as his mom, as they watched in horror while their family — Mikey Day as Kevin’s dad, Colin Jost as Buzz, and Bowen Yang as Fuller — met gruesome fates courtesy of a blowtorch, nail gun, chainsaw, and Kevin’s other contraptions.
Macaulay Culkin has been teasing the possibility of a Home Alone sequel lately, but honestly, I can’t imagine anything better than this.
