Folk musician Jesse Welles has announced a new headlining tour set for this summer and fall.
The “Red Tour” is named after Welles’ song of the same name from his February 2025 album, Middle. It kicks off on July 24th in Birmingham, Alabama, and wraps up on October 26th in Columbus, Ohio, with additional stops scheduled in cities like Kansas City, St. Louis, and Los Angeles.
Tickets for the “Red Tour” are available via Ticketmaster as of Friday, March 27th. VIP packages will also be available. Fans can look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 120% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program.
Joining him for the trek are special guests Ratboys, Steph Strings, and Hudson Freeman, who will perform at select shows.
The tour announcement comes as Welles is smack dab in the middle of his “Under the Powerlines” tour. Check out his complete tour itinerary below.
Earlier this month, Welles performed the live debut of his protest song, “Sometimes You Bomb Iran,” at a show in North Carolina. Last November, Jesse performed the track “Join ICE” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Welles was recently nominated for four awards at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Folk Album (Under the Powerlines [April 24 – September 24]), Best Americana Album (Middle), Best American Roots Songs (“Middle”), and Best Americana Performance (“Horses”).
