Kanye West, a.k.a. Ye, returns to the Solider Field stage in Chicago on tonight, September 4th, for the second of two sold-out nights in his hometown (get last-minute tickets here). This two-night run Chicago marks West’s first shows in the city since 2021.
Based on Thursday’s opening show, fans can expect a career-spanning set pulling from across West’s entire catalog. Night one featured more than 40 songs, from The College Dropout-era cuts like “Homecoming” and “All Falls Down” through newer tracks “Off the Grid” and “Praise God.” The night leaned heavily on hits — “Stronger,” “Gold Digger,” “Jesus Walks,” “Flashing Lights,” “Power” — and included a run of surprise guest cameos, with Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Future, and Twista all joining for stretches of their respective collaborations, plus vocalist Andre Troutman featured on several 808s-era songs.
