He’s no good to me deconstructed — so I’ll have to build him brick by brick. LEGO has unveiled the first look at its fully buildable Boba Fett display figure.
Releasing August 1st, the model depicts the feared bounty hunter as he looked in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. With his brick-build blaster, fabric cape, swiveling range finder, and iconic helmet and jetpack, the Boba Fett figure also has posable head, arms, and hands. Fully constructed, the 1,544-piece set stands over 16 inches tall. There’s also an included Boba Fett minifig. See more images of its details and poses below.
The LEGO Boba Fett will retail at $169.99, about $40 more than the comparable LEGO Iron Man display piece. That Iron Man Mark 3 set features about 250 fewer pieces and is an inch shorter, accounting for some of the price difference. (Either way, take it from an avowed AFOL, the Iron Man model is well worth the build, so one can imagine the Boba Fett will be too.)
Other soon-to-be-released LEGO Star Wars sets include the Imperial Remnant AT-AT ($159.99) and Offworld Sandcrawler and Mudhorn ($199.99), both of which are available for pre-order now. The LEGO Boba Fett should be available for pre-order soon, and will look great next to other scaled Star Wars display sets like the new Darth Vader Bust ($49.97), the refreshed Grogu model ($129.95), the classic BB-8 ($89.95), the fan-favorite K-2SO from Andor ($89.95), and the newly discounted 25th anniversary R2-D2 ($79.99).
LEGO also recently revealed a five-set Olivia Rodrigo collection, and its Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird character build from KPop Demon Hunters.
