Meshuggah are celebrating their 40th anniversary as a band with a 2027 North American tour featuring stacked support from Testament and Blood Incantation.
The outing, dubbed “The Forty-Year Anomaly Tour,” is divided into two legs, with the first kicking off February 12th in Toronto, and running through a March 6th show in Boston, and the second picking up on April 15th in Vancouver, and wrapping up May 14th at the Milwaukee Metal Fest. Along the way, Meshuggah will hit Chicago, Baltimore, Brooklyn, Seattle, Houston, and Atlanta, among other cities.
A pre-sale begins today, October 27th, at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster, with a general on-sale starting Friday, October 30th, at 10 a.m. local time.
The Swedish band formed in 1987, and is one of the most influential acts when it comes to progressive and technical metal. Meshuggah have released nine albums, including landmark efforts like Destroy Erase Improve, Chaosphere, and Nothing, with their most recent being Immutable, which landed at No. 2 on Heavy Consequence‘s 30 Best Metal & Hard Rock Albums of 2022.
Thrash legends Testament, meanwhile, are touring in support of their 2025 album, Para Bellum, while Blood Incantation released the acclaimed Absolute Elsewhere in 2024 and All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) earlier this year.
