Metallica Announce 2027 North American Tour Dates

Metallica have announced a new run of North American tour dates, the latest extension of their “M72 World Tour.”

Kicking off May 8th in Vancouver, the trek also includes stadium shows in San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison, Cleveland, and Salt Lake City. Support for these shows will come from Limp Bizkit and Avatar.

Tickets for Metallica’s newly announced dates in 2027 are now available via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via Vivid Seats (save $20 off your first order of $200 or more by using code COS20 at checkout).

The 2027 “M72” dates will mark Metallica’s first chance to hit the road following their massive “Life Burns Faster” residency at Las Vegas Sphere, which runs from October 2026 to March 2027. Tickets for the residency are available here.

The “M72 World Tour” kicked off way back in 2023, and seemingly wrapped up this past summer, but it turns out it’s not over yet. Unlike many of the previous dates that included “No Repeat Weekends” over two nights in a single city, the 2027 dates feature single shows in each city.

In addition to the Sphere performances and the 2027 tour dates, Metallica are also playing two special shows in Uncasville, Connecticut, on November 19th and 21st of this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mohegan Sun Arena.
