If you’re a telecom giant trying to convince consumers your new plan is totally not evil like your old plans, who’s your perfect pitchman? In the case of Verizon, that’d be Mike Myers’ classic villain Dr. Evil.

Myers and his fellow Austin Powers castmates Rob Lowe, Seth Green, and Mindy Sterling have reunited for the new ad directed by the franchise’s original filmmaker, Jay Roach. The spot finds Dr. Evil planning to launch Menace Mobile, only to be shut down when his team points out complicated cellphone plans are already the standard. That is, except at Verizon, which is skirting its reputation as just another “diabolical phone company” with its new Simplicity Plan.

“Any time I get to be Dr. Evil is a fun time. Especially when I get to play with that incredibly talented cast,” Myers told Variety. “Verizon brought a really clever approach to launching the Simplicity Plan. It turns out, putting a stop to complicated phone plans is the one thing Dr. Evil’s crew can actually agree on.”

We’ll let Dr. Evil and Scott do the pitching here, but you can watch the ad below. This isn’t the first time the Austin Powers cast has reunited to joke about a corporation being so sincerely not evil; in fact, this is essentially the same commercial GM ran during the 2022 Super Bowl.
