Mitski has unveiled a 10th anniversary edition of her groundbreaking album Puberty 2 and announced a new vinyl release.
The 10th anniversary deluxe edition, out now digitally, celebrates the album that launched the indie singer-songwriter from an underground wonder to a higher level of recognition, acknowledgement and success in 2016. The digital version includes two bonus tracks: Mitski’s covers of One Direction’s “Fireproof” and Frank Sinatra’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” previously only available on compilations. A limited run of the 10th anniversary edition of Puberty 2 on colored vinyl is set for release on October 30th via Dead Oceans records.
At the time of its release, Puberty 2 made many critics’ year-end lists, including the No. 11 spot in Consequence’s Top 50 Albums of 2016. The album’s lead single, “Your Best American Girl,” was ranked eighth in Consequence’s Top 50 Songs of 2016.
Mitski is still making Consequence’s lists with her latest album, Nothing’s About to Happen to Me, earning the sixth slot in The 33 Best Albums of 2026 So Far and her song “I’ll Change for You” reaching No. 2 in The 100 Best Songs of 2026 So Far. She is scheduled to perform All Things Go D.C. in September. Mitski currently on tour doing a limited number of dates in Asia. Fans can get tickets here.
