My Chemical Romance kicked off their five-night Hollywood Bowl residency on Wednesday night, October 21st, with a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade. During the show, they slightly confused and delighted fans by bringing out dancers dressed like the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
The unexpected moment happened during their performance of The Black Parade cut “Teenagers,” when the dancers initially performed cheerleader choreography. In the biggest giveaway that the dancers likely weren’t the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, they armed themselves with semi-automatic rifles to protect MCR from militarized forces, only to crawl off the stage after being shot.
