The Osbournes have taken another dig at Roger Waters, dropping a limited-edition “Another Prick in the Wall” T-shirt that’s on sale for 48 hours only.
After admonishing Waters on their podcast, calling the former Pink Floyd member a “sad, irrelevant, old, miserable” human being, the Osbournes are monetizing their ire with the $45 T-shirt, which sports “OZZY RULES” in the Diary of a Madman font slapped on top of a “Roger Waters The Wall” graphic on the front, and on the back, a characterization of Ozzy urinating rainbows on what appears to be Waters’ The Wall: Live in Berlin album.
“Well… Ozzy RULES, and that’s all we have to say,” states the product listing on the late singer’s website, where the shirt will be available for just 48 hours.
It was Waters who started the needless feud when he decided to make disparaging remarks about the metal legend in a podcast interview, just weeks after the latter’s passing.
During a conversation about British politics with YouTube channel “The Independent Ink” in August, Waters seemingly changed gears to slip in his hot take on Ozzy and Sabbath — much to the chagrin of the Osbournes and thousands of fans worldwide.
“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life. We’ll never know,” said Waters. “Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck.”
Waters added, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”
Ozzy’s son Jack was swift in his social media response, writing: “Hey Roger Waters, fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a cunt. Thanks for proving him right. [Clown emoji].”
