Peter Bjorn and John have announced a fall North American run of their “Writer’s Block 20th Anniversary Tour” to celebrate the album that brought the band to indie fans around the world.
Dubbed “the classic album. And more” tour, the 9-date trek starts in Mexico before heading north to give fans the live experience of their 2006 album that featured one of their best charting songs, “Young Folks.”

The tour kicks off in the US on October 14th in Los Angeles at Pacific Electric. The Swedish trio hits San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Orlando before concluding the stretch in Miami at ZeyZey. Support will be provided by Josh Rouse.
An artist ticket pre-sales begin Wednesday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and run through Thursday, June 11th. The general on-sale begins Friday, June 12th at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Peter Bjorn and John did a similar, short-run tour in the spring of 2025, marking their first shows after a six year hiatus from playing live in the US. Writer’s Block was one of the most influential albums of the 2000s with “Young Folks” landing on the shows Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother rocketing the band to indie darlings status. The trio released their most recent album, Endless Dream, in 2020.
