Queens of the Stone Age have released their new album Perfecth, the band’s 9th studio recording.

Perfecth brings together elements of their early robot rock sound alongside the psychedelic and moody art rock of their middle period and a helping of the newly-founded dystopian crooner energy they cultivated on their Catacombs tour.

Consequence gave Perfecth a B+, citing its comprehensive and engrossing cinematic soundscape as well its return to astute and clever lyricism. We also spoke with Josh Homme for our Consequence Cover Story, in which he discussed select songs from Perfecth, the inspirations that shaped the record, his friendship with Dave Grohl, and the potential for reunions with his other acclaumed bands Them Crooked Vultures and Kyuss.

Leading up to its release, the album was supported by the singles “Easy Street,” “Insignificant Other,” and “Where the Goth Girls At?” which also received a live performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Queens of the Stone Age recently announced a Spring 2027 North American tour with support from Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp. Get tickets here.
