Rod Stewart has revealed that he will tour for the absolute last time in 2027, announcing a UK/European outing, to go along with a number of makeup shows in the United States.
The 81-year-old rock legend posted a video message on Instagram on Monday morning, telling fans, “Ladies and gentlemen, after much deliberation and sadness, I have to announce… next year will be my last tour forever ever. I’m not retiring. But this will be the last rock ‘n’ roll tour.”
He added, “So I want to thank you for everything you’ve given me, and hopefully I’ve given you something in return. So please come out and see me on the tour. It’s going to be great.”
Stewart was forced to postpone the remainder of his 2026 North American tour, as well as cancel his Las Vegas residency, after undergoing a “routine coronary stent procedure” in August.
Prior to the UK/European tour, Stewart has four US shows booked for March 2027. He’ll also return to the States after the tour to play Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, on September 2nd and 3rd, 2027 (pick up tickets here).
The UK/European tour, meanwhile, runs from April 23rd in Dublin through July 24th in Hannover, Germany. Howard Jones will provide support for the UK dates.
