Slipknot are going bigger than ever in Argentina and Chile for their upcoming tour.
As part of their newly announced “(Sic)est Stadium Tour,” the metal giants will headline Buenos Aires’ Estadio Huracán on September 8th, 2027, before taking over Santiago’s Estadio Nacional on September 12th. The dates represent the band’s biggest headlining bookings to date in both countries.
An artist pre-sale starts Tuesday, September 29th, at 10 a.m. local time, with a general on-sale beginning Friday, October 2nd, at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for North American and UK shows will be available via Ticketmaster.
In Argentina, Slipknot’s history stretches back to a pair of shows at Estadio Obras in 2005. More recently, the band brought Knotfest to the country for the first time in 2024, headlining Parque de la Ciudad in Buenos Aires before a crowd of more than 30,000 people. The newly announced Huracán show will take them into a proper football stadium for the first time in the country.
Chile has an even longer history of increasingly ambitious Slipknot shows. The band made its debut there at the Velódromo del Estadio Nacional in 2005 and graduated to Movistar Arena a decade later. They eventually headlined the first Knotfest Chile at Estadio Monumental in 2022, before the festival moved to Parque Estadio Nacional in 2024, where more than 30,000 people attended.
Now, Slipknot will move inside Chile’s Estadio Nacional itself for the first time.
The Argentina and Chile concerts are part of a five-date Latin American stretch that will close out Slipknot’s first-ever stadium tour. The band will kick off the run at São Paulo’s The Town on September 4th before heading to Buenos Aires and Santiago, followed by Lima’s Estadio Nacional on September 14th and Bogotá’s Vive Claro on September 16th.
