Spiritbox singer Courtney LaPlante has teamed up with MixWave to release her first signature vocal plugin.
The vocal suite is designed to handle both clean and harsh vocals with a variety of modules to help flesh out the sound.
LaPlante stated, “I’ve always dreamed of having one plugin that has everything I need, so I can focus on my performance on stage, and my creativity in the studio. We’ve been developing this idea together since 2021, and I hope you can feel all the love and care that went into it.”
MixWave: Courtney LaPlante is made up of seven smaller modules that can be rearranged in any order, including pitch, distortion, compression, modulation, reverb, delay and line amplifier, allowing a wide range of dynamic sounds to be made with a single unit.
The plugin is available now for an introductory price of $79, with a regular price of $139. LaPlante’s Spiritbox bandmate Mike Stringer already has his own MixWave guitar plugin, and owners of that plugin can purchase the LaPlante one for a loyalty price of $69. Get MixWave: Courtney LaPlante here.
Spiritbox will embark on a European tour with Jinjer and Dying Wish in September, and will play a special shows with Metallica on November 21st to celebrate the Mohegan Sun Arena’s 25th anniversary in Uncasville, Connecticut. Get tickets here.
