Taylor Swift (and Cat Olivia Benson) Crash Emmys’ Law & Order SVU Sketch: Watch

During the 2026 Emmy Awards, a pre-taped sketch featuring the Law & Order cast got some extra juice with a surprise appearance by Taylor Swift. The bit involved Emmys host Mariska Hargitay, in character as Detective Olivia Benson, rallying her team to try to figure out if Taylor Swift would be in attendance at this year’s ceremony. After going down a rabbit hole of references to this year’s nominees, a familiar-looking “rookie,” accompanied by her cat, helps Benson and Ice-T crack the case.

Of course, this being Taylor Swift, there’s almost certainly an Easter egg buried in the sketch waiting for Swifties to uncover.

It’s not a surprise that Hargitay was able to bring Swift in for the bit: She was one of the many guests at Swift’s recent wedding to Travis Kelce. Watch the sketch below, and check out the full list of winners at this year’s Emmy Awards. And if you’re Swiftie,
