Life in the emergency room doesn’t look like it’ll be too different for medical drama The Pitt in Season 2. Yes, it might be a new day at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, but Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) has just clocked in for another 15-episode shift on the Fourth of July, and bloody chaos is sure to unfold in real time.
The new trailer reveals the return of fan favorite characters like Emmy-winning Katherine LaNasa’s nurse Dana and Patrick Ball as the troubled Dr. Langdon — who’s back on the job, but receives a chilly reception from Dr. Robby after the events of Season 1. The ensemble cast also includes Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, and Shabana Azeez. Joining the cast for Season 2 is Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, who’s coming in as a new potential replacement for Dr. Robby, with big ideas for improving things.
The Pitt Season 2 premieres January 8th, 2026 on HBO Max. Check out the new trailer below, and also take a look at where Season 1 ranked on Consequence’s Best TV Shows of 2025 list.
