Never did we think we’d be mentioning Elton John and Dying Fetus in the same sentence, but thanks to an eclectic assortment of artists whom Turnstile have recruited for a reimagined version of their 2025 album NEVER ENOUGH, here we are.
Turnstile have just announced NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS, set to arrive August 28th, and it features the aforementioned Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Elton John and veteran death metal band Dying Fetus, along with Hayley Williams, Slayyyter, Julien Baker, Blood Orange, Faye Webster, and Angel Du$t.
Also contributing are Porches, A.G. Cook, Floating Points, Rod Lee, Kettama, Mustafa, Panda Bear, Brandon Woody, Four Tet, Dan Deacon, Chanel Beads, Shabaka, Oklou, Nourished By Time, and Alex G.
As of now, the band hasn’t shared the album art or which artists are contributing to each song.
NEVER ENOUGH garnered Turnstile two Grammys earlier this year, including Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance (“BIRDS”), after receiving five nominations. The album also helped earn Turnstile Consequence‘s 2025 Band of the Year honors.
The announcement of NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS comes just a few weeks before the band kicks off its North American “NEVER ENOUGH TOUR PT. 2,” which runs from a September 9th show in Milwaukee through an October 18th gig in Santa Ana, California (pick up tickets here).
The band is currently finishing up a run of UK/European festival dates, and will also play a handful of US festivals amidst their upcoming headlining shows.
