Gilbert Dink Henderson is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He started singing with his older brothers at age eight and received his first saxophone at age 10. Henderson was awarded a Music Scholarship to attend Texas Southern University where he became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and later became Drum Major of the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Marching Band. Although he majored in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and is an Aerospace Engineer as well as the holder of two patents for his inventions, GD continues his love for playing music. He has been involved in Marching Bands, R&B, Funk, Jazz and Gospel Bands. Henderson has constructed his own band - HD, The High-Definition Band.
