Bajar & Ara Dinkjian TORONTO will be performed on Saturday May 11th 2024. Location of the concert will be in Meridian Arts Centre at North York located inside the Lyric Theatre upon arrival. The show consists of a Kurdish/Turkish group named Bajar and the Armenian oud artist named Ara Dinkjian will be performing on this special night together. Bajar is a group that is blending together Middle Eastern musical traditions as well as folk & rock patterns. Bajar mixes both Kurdish and Turkish lyrics together in their music. Bajar shares cultural issues within their music. Ara Dinkjian is an Armenian-American musician, song writer, and is considered one of the top oud artists in the world. His compositions have been recorded in thirteen different languages, which include a hit named "Dinata" which has been performed in the closing ceremony of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. His Genre's include's folk music. This event is created by a local production company named Soro Production.

In advance of shows, tickets can be picked up during daytime hours at any TO Live box office (Meridian Arts Centre, Meridian Hall, St. Lawrence Center for the Arts). On show days, tickets will be available for pickup from 2 hours prior to the scheduled curtain time. Please arrive early to avoid congestion and delays, and be prepared to present the actual credit card used for purchase and photo ID.

No smoking is permitted in the building.

All patrons including babies-in-arms require a ticket of admission. If a child has not yet celebrated their first birthday, a "babes-in-arms" ticket may be obtained, free of charge, at the box office as of 2 hours prior to the scheduled curtain time. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult , and if children are being noisy and disrupting the performance the child and guardian may be asked to step out into the lobby.
