16-hour Rigging Worker
HYBRID CLASS:
Hybrid: Tuesday and Thursday, July 21 and 23, 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM via Zoom and Saturday, July 25, will be IN PERSON 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in our Brooklyn office.

This course is a requirement for an individual – who is not employed by a licensed rigger – to perform rigging or signaling work in conjunction with the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment. In lieu of completing this course, an individual may instead possess a department approved national rigging certification. (NCCCO Rigger Level I)
Per NYC AC 2022 3316.9.2: 
To perform rigging or signaling work in conjunction with the hoisting or lowering of articles on the outside of a building with hoisting equipment, an individual must either (i) complete this course, (ii) possess a Department-approved national rigging certification, or (iii) be employed by a licensed Rigger.
