As part of our season-long Brahms Revealed celebration, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra musicians and special guests bring his feverishly Romantic masterworks to life. Throughout his bountiful creative life, Johannes Brahms poured his creative zeal into muscular chamber works ? often featuring himself at the piano. The audience will be treated to an intimate performance by the ASO?s own sibling duo, David and Julie Coucheron, when they join forces for Brahms? third violin sonata. The dazzling program features some of the composer?s most virtuosic and freewheeling works, letting every musician shine, including stellar young cellist Sterling Elliott, the orchestra?s featured guest artist.
