About:
Alina Bzhezhinska & Tony Kofi are a dynamic jazz duo blending harp, saxophone, flute, percussion and electronics to create immersive soundscapes. They first performed on stage during a concert with Pharoah Sanders at the Barbican for the London Jazz Festival 2017, an encounter that shaped their musical collaboration. They have recorded three critically acclaimed albums and toured across the UK, Europe and Australia, described by London Jazz News as “…interplay with extraordinary sweetness and sensitivity.”

Their duo album, Altera Vita (BBE Music), was hailed as a “masterpiece” with a 5-star review by DownBeat Magazine. Following Whispers of Rain Vol. 1 (Tru Thoughts, 2025), created with electronic music producer Tulshi from Ibiza, they now present Whispers of Rain Vol. 2, blending saxophone, flute, percussion and kalimba performed live by Tony Kofi with harp, sampler machine and loop pedals performed on stage by Alina. The project explores a cultural blend of peace, tranquility and expressive rhythms. The first 2 pieces from this recording will be released in March 2026 on Tru Thoughts on all digital platforms and Bandcamp.
