Comedy that feels like family is coming to Stratford. Mindset Manage and JAW Management present All Jokes Aside, the midweek pick-me-up now bringing its signature soulful vibes to East London for the very first time.
This isn’t your standard comedy night. It’s grown, it’s authentic, and it’s filled with the kind of laughter that feels like catching up with old friends. Expect a night that’s cool, chilled, and inclusive, whether you’re rolling deep or flying solo, you’ll fit right in.
We’re excited to partner with Soul Mama, Stratford’s home for culture, flavour, and vibes. Picture this: candlelit tables, soulful plates straight from the kitchen, cocktails flowing, and a crowd ready to enjoy a proper night out. It’s midweek magic with a twist.
Now in its second year, All Jokes Aside has already welcomed heavy hitters including Slim, Kane Brown, Axel Blake, Grace Campbell, KG Tha Comedian, and Aurie Styles. For the Stratford launch, the lineup is nothing short of fire:
Kae Kurd
Kae Kurd Smart, sharp and brilliantly funny, Kae Kurd is recognised as one of the UK’s fastest rising comedy stars, celebrated for creating and curating extensive online content across a range of platforms.
His debut stand up special Kurd Your Enthusiasm received over 200K views on YouTube, with Joe’s Creative Director noting “It’s intriguing – and exciting – that a performer with such a slick mainstream swagger is able to weave so many socio-political issues into his act.” Kae’s follow up 2021 Spoken Kurd Tour was another total sell out success with his major new UK Tour Kurd Immunity for 2023, culminating at the world-famous London Eventim Apollo.
His extensive list of TV credits include Live at The Apollo (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Celebrity Masterchef (BBC One) and The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two). As a hugely in-demand writer, Kae was worked on a range of impressive projects including Chunkz’s Bad Chefs (ITV2), Munya Chawawa's Race Around Britain (YouTube Originals), Crouchy’s Year Late Euros (BBC One), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Cunk & Other Humans (BBC Two), Have I Got News For You (BBC Two) and A League of Their Own (Sky One) He is also the Writer / Voice of ITV’s hit dating format Loaded in Paradise and Hosts hit podcast Ain’t Got A Clue. In 2025, Kae fronted his own comedy entertainment series for Sky called Sets & Reps, performed at the O2 Arena, launched his biggest tour to date, What’s O’Kurd? And was announced as Co Host of The Wayne Rooney Show for BBC Sports.
