Australia’s premier Latin electronic act Amaru Tribe celebrates the release of their third full-length album and second vinyl release, Golden Roots, with a special takeover of The Night Cat.

This milestone celebration will bring together cultures, stories and rhythms in true global style, featuring AMARU TRIBE, Ausecuma Beats, Paul George of Tijuana Cartel, plus DJs Future Roots, SOA GABI and more to be announced.

Marking the band’s 10-year anniversary, Golden Roots opens a new chapter after years of touring major festivals across Australia and around the world. The album brings together the group’s signature blend of electronica, cumbia, global bass and ancestral rhythms, shaped by international collaborations with artists including Chancha Via Circuito (Argentina), Afrosideral (Cuba), Adam Alydrus (Bali), Gaita Loop (Colombia) and QVLN (USA).

In this new offering, Amaru Tribe captures the collective energy of their live shows while exploring more intimate, downtempo soundscapes. The result is a vibrant journey through movement, memory and connection; music that celebrates cultural exchange and reminds us that connection is gold. Golden Roots invites listeners to dance, reflect, remember and be free.

This will be Amaru Tribe’s final Melbourne show of the year before band leaders Oscar and Katherine relocate to Colombia for a few months to focus on parenthood and explore new creative opportunities in Latin America.

We acknowledge that this event will be held on Wurundjeri land of the Kulin Nation and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
