Animals and Friends

De inmiddels 83 jarige John Steel (drummer), met Eric Burdon in 1957 de oprichters van The Animals, gaat ermee stoppen. Resteert nog een afscheidstour naar o.a. Australië, Scandinavië, Amerika en in het voorjaar 2027 naar België/Nederland. De overige bandleden zijn: Danny Handley (inmiddels alweer 20 jaar zanger/gitarist), Barney "Mr. Boogie Woogie" Williams en Norm Helm. Animals & Friends is nog steeds een ruwe Rhythm & Blues band welk internationaal door fans van alle leeftijden nog steeds met veel respect wordt ontvangen en instinctief enthousiast reageren op de beste nummers uit de rijke Animals historie als We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Boom Boom, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, Baby, Let Me Take You Home, I Put A Spell On You, It's my life en natuurlijk House Of The Rising Sun.
