Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Art grew up with many musical and artistic influences as a kid in his Motown, which led to the beginning of his nightclub career there as a teenager. In 1987 Vargas was hired into the Las Vegas cast of world famous ‘Legends in Concert’ with his acclaimed Bobby Darin tribute. Art put his stamp on Darin’s classic cool swagger and dynamic style and made it his own. His Vegas stage career began on the Las Vegas scene performing alongside the original classic Vegas stars which encouraged his classic showman performance and style. From then on Art Vargas has become one of the most popular and admired performers in Las Vegas. Producing his own shows at every casino venue in Las Vegas and stages across the country. Vargas has inspired and shared his stage with many talented singers and musicians, and always surrounds himself with the best. Art pays homage in performance to the great showbiz stars of ‘Rat Pack’ era Vegas that inspired him to perform as a teen. Making it all his ‘own’ with sincere heart & soul.
