From the elegance of Classical form to the vivid reinvention of 20th-century sound, this concert traverses centuries of symphonic color and craft. The ASU Symphony Orchestra opens with Carl Reinecke?s lyrical Flute Concerto, featuring Dr. Mikaela Hannon (DMA, '24). Haydn?s final symphony and Hindemith?s Symphonic Metamorphosis round out the evening with wit, brilliance, and rhythmic fire.
