Aterciopelados is Colombias flagship rock band and one of the most influential projects in Ibero-American music. Led by Andrea Echeverri and Hctor Buitrago, the band has spent more than 30 years building a unique musical language that blends rock, Latin American rhythms and ancestral roots, shaping a powerful, critical and enduring artistic identity.With 10 studio albums, 2 live albums, 4 Latin Grammy Awards, and two Grammy Award nominations (1998 and 2026), Aterciopelados has shaped generations with songs that redefined rock in Spanish and brought Latin American alternative music to global stages.
