 Showcasing George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue, brought to life by renowned Auckland pianist Patrick Cornfield, this programme also features the gently rolling currents of Bedrich Smetana’s The Moldau, the tranquil bliss of Eric Coate’s By the Sleepy Lagoon, the gripping, cinematic suspense of John William’s legendary theme from Jaws, the sultry rhythms of Leroy Anderson’s Blue Tango, the exquisite beauty of Maurice Ravel’s Pavane, and a high-energy medley of big band favourites.
