Big Country: 'The Seer' 40th Anniversary Tour
Celebrate 40 years of a Scottish masterpiece live at Glasgow's G2.
In 1986, Dunfermline's alt-rock icons Big Country released their seminal third studio album, The Seer. Boasting towering tracks like "Look Away", "The Teacher", and the sweeping title track, the album cemented their signature widescreen, bagpipe-inflected guitar sound in rock history.
To honor this milestone, Big Country - led by co-founder and longest-serving member Bruce Watson - are heading out on a massive UK anniversary run. They land at G2 in Edinburgh on Saturday, 19th December 2026 for a monumental, high-energy performance of tracks from The Seer alongside their timeless greatest hits like "In A Big Country" and "Fields Of Fire".
Special Guest: Evan Peters Presents The Alarm
Adding to this historic tour, the band will be joined by very special guests Evan Peters Presents The Alarm. This run honors an emotional pact made between Bruce Watson and Mike Peters following Mike's cancer diagnosis, celebrating the triumphant survival, bond, and timeless hits of both bands live on one stage.
