This entertaining two-hour showcase of performing talent and solid-gold hits from past decades features six vocalists, an all-star band and forty memorable songs. The show salutes the lasting magic of legendary entertainers who shaped the entertainment world and influenced the current music scene. This dynamic stage show features songs made famous by The Four Tops to The Temptations, Donna Summer to Whitney Houston, and so many others. *Originally scheduled for October 4th 2025. The concept of BLACK GOLD is to illustrate in song the evolution of Motown music to the current hits of mega star entertainers such as The Temptations, The Four Tops, Donna Summer, Lionel Ritchie, Lou Rawls, The Supremes, Barry White, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and others. The early Motown songs are upbeat hand-clapping tunes about romance, love, friendship and that's what the show is all about: joy, hope, uplifting entertainment. The later numbers are love songs and about happier times. The musicality of some of the songs are uncomplicated but have meaningful lyrics. Perhaps that's why they became classic hits in a golden age of music. The underlying theme of the show is about coming together, loving one another, and helping make the world a better place.
