Christof Van Der Ven

Christof van der Ven returns to Australia this October for an intimate series of solo performances in Melbourne and Sydney, offering audiences a rare chance to experience his songs in their purest form.

Fresh from the release of his new album is this what we’ve become?, Christof invites listeners into a world of gentle melodies, textured arrangements, and unflinching storytelling – songs that speak to love, loss, friendship, and the winding roads between.

Hailing from Holland, Christof has toured the world supporting Bon Iver, The Staves, Bear’s Den, Lisa Hannigan, and Nick Mulvey, while earning praise from Clash Music, DIY, Gold Flake Paint, and The I for his “lush indie folk tapestries” and “captivating voice.”

These shows will see Christof revisit highlights from across his career – including tracks from his acclaimed albums Empty Handed and You Were The Place – alongside new favourites from is this what we’ve become?.

Christof has released two earlier LPs, Empty Handed (2018) and You Were The Place (2019), where his music has been played on BBC6 Radio and Radio X.
